From April 17 till 26, at the invitation of Ministry of Information, Youth, Culture and Sports of Tanzania, Ministry of Arts and Culture of Mauritius and Ministry of Culture of Senegal, Madame Yang Chengzhi, vice president of CFLAC, headed a 6-person delegation to visit Tanzania, Mauritius and Senegal. With focus on implementing the China-Africa Cooperation Partner Project put forward in Beijing Action Plan at the 5th Ministerial Meeting of China-Africa Cooperation Forum, this visit aimed to give a full play to CFLAC’s advantages and characteristics in the cultural and art exchange with Africa, to facilitate CFLAC and African cultural and art organizations in establishing cooperation mechanism and to involve Chinese national association and artists of all the disciplines into the cultural and art exchange with African countries.
