Jointly sponsored by the State of Council of U.S., U.S Embassy to China and the Chinese Museum of Women and Children (CMWC), the exhibition entitled “The Sum of Many Parts, 25 Quilt Makers in 21st Century America” was held at CMWC in Beijing from August 20 to September 10. 25 pieces of art created by 25 American contemporary artists were on the display, presenting the rich tradition of quilt making art in America and cultural diversity of American society and community life as well. The exhibition has been organized in Shanghai, Yunnan, Guangxi, Hunan and Liaoning.
