From January 11 till 19, at the invitation of International Federation of Arts Council and Cultural Agencies (IFACCA) and National Council for Culture and the Arts of Chile, a CFLAC delegation headed by Dong Zhanshun, director general of International Liaison Department, attended the 6th World Summit on Arts and Culture as well as the 38th board meeting of IFACCA. Under the theme “Creative Times: New Models for Cultural Development”, this summit gathered nearly 400 delegates from 67 countries for exchange and discussion concerning the opportunities and challenges confronting the current cultural development of all the countries. Dong Zhanshun was elected to be a new board member at the 5th General Assembly of IFACCA and attended the following board meeting for the first time.
