From 24, November to 1, December, the delegation of CFLAC headed by Vice-Chairman ZUO Zhongyi, at the invitation of National Council for Art of South Africa and Department of Cultural Information of Saudi Arabia, has visited the two countries for art exchanges. During the visit in South Africa, ZUO Zhongyi has attended the Silk Road— China Silk Road Art Troupe Special Performance in South Africa, co-hosted by CFLAC, China Musicians Association and Cape Town Promotion of Peaceful and National Reunification, met with Marlene de Roux, Dir of the Artscape Theatre of Cape Town and exchanged views with his counterpart concerning a series of cultural exchanges projects of 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and South Africa. In Saudi Arabia, ZUO Zhongyi has met with prince of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Matab bin Thunyan bin Muhammad AL Saud and Omar Al Ageel, Deputy Minister Ministry of Cutture and Information, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reaching a preliminary intention concerning promotion of civil cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries and holding China-Arabia Calligraphy Art Exhibition in Beijing and Riyadh in 2018.
