　　From July 3rd to September 3rd, the exhibition of Masters: Australian Bark Painting Artists has been held at National Museum of China, displaying aboriginal artists and their bark paintings in Arnhem Land in the peninsula area of Australia's Northern Coast.

Bark painting is a type of painting art created by Australian aborigines with the theme of primitive religion. It records the ideological pursuit and life performance of the aborigines in ancient times, showcasing the richness of the original national life and the strong artistic features, with distinctive characteristics of Australian primitive art. The bark paintings in the exhibition were created between 1948 and 1985 by the masters of bark paintings in Arnhem in northern Australia. Their cultural traditions have been more than 50,000 years and are one of the oldest cultures known to human being.
