The 8th China Beijing International Art Biennale (Referred to as"Beijing Biennale") theming "A Colorful World and A SharedFuture" co-ornized b FLA nd hin Artists Assocition nd, co-organized by CFLAC and China Artists Association andimplemented by CAA, shall be held at the National Art Museum of China fromAugust 26th to September 23th, 2019, and will exhibit more than 600 works. OnAugust 17th, the organizer has announced the theme and rules of the event inBeijing and call for contribution from around the globe.
The 8th Beijing Biennale's theme is "A Colorful World and A Shared Future".
"A Colorful World" refers to the world cultural diversity, and "A Shared
Future" refers to a community with a shared future for mankind. The world
is colorful because of art, and human beings are common to fates. In order
to facilitate the artists to determine the theme and direction of the creation,
the organizers have set up corresponding sub-topics under the theme of "A
Colorful World and A Shared Future" as a free alternative for Chinese and
foreign artists in creation, which is conducive to the final presentation of
the exhibition with multiple levels and three-dimensional appearance. The
sub-topics not only involve global issues such as environmental degradation,
local conflicts, nuclear war threats, terrorist activities, refugee crises, financialcrises, the gap between the rich and the poor, epidemics and other global issues, but more importantly, through the acquisition, processing and refining of international peacekeeping and international medical care, artificial intelligence, digital silk roads, aerospace, environmental governance, poverty alleviation, disaster prevention and the opportunities of China to release and exhibit again, focusing on the common beliefs and destinies of the present mankind: peaceful development, shared prosperity, And present a realistic perspective and a forward-looking vision for the future from an artistic perspective.
It is reported that the Beijing Biennale's domestic and international works are
composed of two parts: special invitation and free submission: special Chinese
and foreign works are determined by the planning committee; free submissions
are collected worldwide. The exhibition will not only collect paintings and
sculptures globally, but also absorb a certain number of works concerning
images and installations. The submission deadline of the event is December
25th this year.
