From November 6th to 11th, at the invitation of the China Film Association, some 100 guests from film art circles of 23 countries, including Italy, Canada, Britain, Estonia, India, Japan, Iran, and China's Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan have visited Foshan City, Guangdong Province to participate in the 27th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. The film festival of this year has showcased 24 foreign films and 14 films from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. It also witnessed successful holding of the awarding and of closing ceremony of the Golden Rooster International Film Festival, the Opening Ceremony of Hong Kong and Macao Films Screening, the Opening Ceremony of Taiwan Film Newcomers and New Works, welcome receptions for international and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan guests and other events.
