At the invitation of Chinese Culture Foundation of USA, “Ink &Wash: China Dream—Selected Contemporary Chinese Painting Exhibition” jointly sponsored by China Artists Association (CAA) and Beijing Cultural Creativity International Group was opened in New York on October 30. After “One World—UN Family in Chinese Colored Paintings” held in UN Headquarters in 2008, it is the second time that CAA has brought traditional Chinese ink and wash art to America, the opposite of the Pacific in recent five years. This exhibition involved artworks by 16 famous Chinese artists such as Liu Dawei, Wu Changjiang, Guo Yizong and Du Ziling with full coverage of portrait, landscape, bird and flowers in subjects as well as detailed and freehand styles.
