From March 4 till 8, the library of Goethe Institute of Beijing opened its 3D printer to discuss the current popular 3D printing issue together with the Department of Design of Central Academy of Fine Arts. All the readers who are interested in 3D printing are entitled to bring their designed documents to the library for printing and the sponsor will provide instructions on how to use a 3D printer and printed matter processing.

“In Germany, more and more designers obtained the assistance by 3D printers in model construction and product research, but 3D printing technology has not yet exerted its magic effect in all the fields, particularly to be fully utilized in artistic creation as a new technology.” said iris Braun, a liberal reporter in Berlin, which has just corroborated the theme of this event.
